Mercury 4-strokes:
Mercury’s complete line of four stroke outboards offer more options and fill more niches than any other outboard manufacturer. From the 2.5 horsepower trolling motor to the 275 horsepower powerhouse, Mercury four stroke’s will complete any mission and can be used on nearly every possible marine power application.
Four stroke outboards offer the cleanest, quietest, most reliable power available. Four stroke technology combines smooth, smoke free operation, and unmatched corrosion resistance with proven technology such as Mercury’s pioneered Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) and SmartCraft.
Mercury has combined the efficient four stroke combustion process with performance enhancing Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). EFI helps to enhance fuel efficiency, allow for turn key starting, and surpass previous horsepower limitations. Mercury now offers models with the proven EFI technology on all outboards starting at 25 horsepower.
Mercury EFI four stroke’s are EPA certified, CARB star rated and considered to be the lowest emissions outboards in the industry.
Nissan/Tohatsu TLDI Series:
The TLDI® Series are Nissan Marine’s award winning outboard motors that have an established reputation for being compact in size while demonstrating highly desired features such as low emissions and high fuel economy that are demanded by the new generation of boaters.
They are powered by a direct fuel injection system and a 32-bit ECU (Engine Control Unit). The ECU gives precise fuel injection instructions in accordance to the operating conditions detected by the multiple sensors located on the motor.
The TLDI® outboard motors meet all of the 2006 emission regulations stipulated by EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and CARB (California Air Resources Board).

Tohatsu 4 Strokes:
Tohatsu’s first priority when developing these engines was to make them lightweight and compact without compromising reliability or the quality performance associated with the Tohatsu brand name. We have maintained the durable standard features that Tohatsu owners appreciate while making fuel-efficient 4-strokes that are easy to transport.
These outboards are compact 2-cylinder, SOHC engines that have been manufactured to comply with all US EPA 2006 and CARB 2008 (3-star rating) emission regulations.
